Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Will Have Rollback Netcode

The remastered Persona 4 Arena Ultimax featuring characters from Persona 3 & Persona 4 will feature rollback netcode for its online competitive play in its final release.

In a video tweeted by ATLUS’ official account, Kazuhisa Wada shared a message regarding the inclusion of rollback netcode for the remastered version of Persona 4 Arena. In the tweet, he went on to say the following:

Hello, this is Kazuhisa Wada, the producer of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Thank you, everyone, for supporting Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

It’s been almost 10 years since the original Persona 4 Arena was released for PlayStation 3

When we announced the new ports, we were amazed and absolutely thrilled by your response. We were particularly happy to see all the warm comments from fans who have played Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in the past.

Now, regarding rollback netcode, we’re planning on releasing this feature in summer this year, so please look forward to it. We can’t wait to see everyone having fun playing against each other.

We hope for your continued support for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

Until next time!

This is definitely good news for players who want to take the game to competitive heights and would rather do it online. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will launch on 17 March this year and will be available for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam.
