Arc System Works has announced the last Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 1 DLC character, and it’s a longtime Guilty Gear character.

Guilty Gear Strive will be adding Testament into the mix. He(?) is the adopted son of GG hero Kliff Undersen and his fighting style features static traps, projectiles, and all sorts of on-screen nonsense so that he can apply oppressive pressure onto them with his footsie-dominant scythe. At least that’s how it was in the last Guilty Gear game he was in. Guilty Gear Strive’s approach to its legacy characters may change him up, though he may retain his trap cards.

Looks-wise, he’s sporting a top hat, wears sleeveless apparel, and has two fairies in his intros and Super Move. Yep, they’re really going for the androgynous look for this fellow like last time. In addition, the White House Reborn stage will also be part of the Season 1 DLC as well as Another Story visual novel type thing.

In addition, the upcoming Season 2 of Guilty Gear Strive will add crossplay between PS4, PS5, and PC versions for online play. That’s great news!
