The story of Tekken 3 will go into full swing in this upcoming video game TV series adaptation for Netflix.
Netflix has announced Tekken: Bloodline, an animated series about one of the series’ protagonists Jin Kazama and how he learns the Kazama-Style traditional martial arts as well as the tragedy that unfolded. And eventually finding out his lineage and birthright. Here’s the official synopsis:
“Power is everything.” Jin Kazama learned the family self-defense arts, Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age. Even so, he was powerless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared, destroying everything dear to him, changing his life forever. Angry at himself for being unable to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to exact it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage — The King of Iron Fist Tournament.”
The show looks serious and all, but keep in mind that he will be dealing with companies that somehow bred raptors and boxing kangaroos, as well as robots called JACK. Apart from Jin, the show will feature his mom Jun Kazama, Ogre, Ganryu, Heihachi, Paul, Leroy, Kazuya, and King, among others in the Tekken cast.
Watch the trailer below. Tekken: Bloodline will be out in 2022.
