Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers 2022 Movie: All The Cameos & Easter Eggs
By Jon Toyad|May 21, 2022|4 Comments
Doug and his trusty dog Porkchop are lawyers in this universe. Chgeck the ad on the top right.
Bonus: an extra from the Pixar movie Cars.
He was in the previous Chip And Dale: Rescue Rangers trailer. In this film, he’s called Sweet Pete and runs a company that melts down old toys and turns them into port-a-potties.
Previously, he was down on his luck after the original 50s Peter Pan movie. Then, he made his own bootleg Peter Pan movie with his aged physique, then resorted to doing bootleg films and get rich out of them.
Even the LEGO brand gets a movie poster.
The NES classic makes an appearance when Dale reveals his Chip & Dale-themed crime lab.
Randy Marsh is chilling in the sauna with some cartoon pigs while Chip and Dale are sneaking atop the place looking for Sweet Pete’s locker.
He appears in a scene where Chip & Dale infiltrates a bath house as one of the patrons. Yes, he’s swimming in a pile of gold. And it doesn’t kill him, because this is cartoon logic we’re working with here.
During an investigation in the bootleg character surgery machine hideout, the duo stumble across a couple of before and after pictures, one of them being the lasagna-loving cat.
While Chip & Dale are trapped in the surgery machine, a computer is displaying the best art style to modify the duo into. The computer displays them in anime, Rick & Morty, and a couple more Western and Japanese animation styles.
Chip and Dale come across a hidden area with separated cartoon character parts. These range from Rocky’s aviator helmet (from Rocky and Bullwinkle) to Jimmy Neutron’s trademark hair.
Also, RIP(?) Sora from Kingdom Hearts, now doing bootleg games and anime under the “Keysword Wielding Boy Adventures” moniker.
An MTV/Fox joint from filmmaker Mike Judge, Butthead is now a senator cracking down on bootleg laws.
He’s in the comic convention making stupid jokes about “aunts” and “ants”.
Chip & Dale hitch a ride on a stampede of ponies while being chased by Sweet Pete and his gang.
One of the Lost Boys appear as a passerby in the comic convention, being mistaken for Chip and Dale by one of Sweet Pete’s thugs.
It’s the hat and coat Dr. Jones wears. It also serves as a gag referencing Chip’s outfit in the Rescue Rangers show which is clearly inspired by Harrison Ford’s character.
Master of the Universe’s power couple, Skeletor and He-Man, makes an appearance signing autographs at a booth.
The anime mecha makes an appearance as a prop for Chip and Dale to climb on during a chase sequence in the movie.
Seth Rogen voices these characters in previous shows (Lion King remake, Kung-Fu Panda, Monsters vs Aliens), so it makes sense to put in this gag involving the OG dwarf Seth Rogen voices as well. He even mocked his own trademark “heh heh” laugh.
The tennis VS match billboard ad features Star War’s bounty hunter Greedo and a Jim Henson creation. We’re guessing the monster’s from the classic 80s movie Labyrinth. Jabba the Hutt’s pet Salacious Crumb in Return of The Jedi.
In the climactic chase scene between Chip & Dale and transformed Sweet Pete, the duo stumbled upon the studio where the bootleg films are made. We have a Winnie The Pooh and The Simpsons knockoff being shown in this scene.
The Disney villain and also Goofy’s asshole neighbour in Goof Troop is stuck in bootleg hell pretending to be Aladdin.
There’s too many to list here, so we’ll let the screenshots do the talking. We’ve spotted a deformed dwarf, a Snork, Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, Obelix from the Asterix comic book series, Pete’s Dragon, and Jiminy Cricket.
He’s sitting on a park bench with the Ellie Steckler, Private Investigator advertisement during the credits scene.
A grumpy Darkwing Duck (voiced by Jim Cummings) has a booth and complains about the Rescue Rangers upstaging him in the mid-credits scene.
A fake ad for a Super Smash Bros fighting game clone but with Disney Afternoon stars. Why you gotta tease us like this, Disney? Make it happen!
Sorry, shippers. This movie confirms that Gadget and Zipper are married to each other in the film.

It looks like the creature facing Greedo in the tennis match is actually Salacious B. Crumb from Return of the Jedi! https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Salacious_B._Crumb

I think the “Jim Henson Monster” on the Tennis Billboard is Salacious Crumb.

A rare squalor happened, of course. The characters are like the pictures of a bad artist, flat and empty. Facial expressions and forms are alien. There is no aesthetic admiration for this attempt at 3d expression. No grace or beauty. There is no depth and love, not an adequate plot. Inappropriate flat humor. A fierce mockery of the secret. An absurd untalented product without a sense of beauty, reminiscent of the same pirated products from the movie. They dumped everything in a heap and made a huge unintelligible dump. A bunch of some defective characters, like the Sonic who talks about the existence of the original Sonic, by the way … Completely unreasonably mocked the key points, just for fun. You can often hear about the key point that this is such a specific joke – an attempt to justify mediocre “creators” who, due to their “giftedness”, have no idea how great creations continue. If no one understands the joke, is it a success? We all understand how society looks at those who joked unsuccessfully. And how they perceive those whose jokes are not appropriate and not funny. What do those whose jokes are funny only to them look like. For this, usually, you can get in the face. And even if otherwise, if everyone and everything suddenly understood, then this fake does not automatically become magnificent and worthy of its original. Comedy is completely out of place here, as are the comic creators. They do it under the sauce “We love the Rescuers.” Well, well… Couldn’t do it, really, like Disney, in general.
Only that picture was remembered, which hung on the wall at the “actor” Monty. And how wonderful it would be if the film (or its redemption) were in this style and with an adequate plot.Luckily, this is not an original reality that could continue canon. To understand this substitution, which tried to continue the series, it is enough to see in the film an episode with the participation of Akiva Shaffer, who allegedly filmed the original series in 1990, be it wrong – thanks.
The real creators would hardly have been satisfied.
