Disney × FaZe Clan Apparel Collaboration Agreed For 1 Year
By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|May 25, 2022|0 Comment
FaZe Clan has teamed up with entertainment powerhouse Disney to announce a year-long partnership to produce apparel and other merchandise.
Our first look into the collaboration is non-other than a tech-inspired reimagining of Disney’s very own Mickey Mouse revamped as ‘Mickey On The Grid’.
FaZe Clan and Disney’s initial collection will launch on 28 May 2022 at The Armory, the organisation’s pop-up store. The collection will be available online from 30 May 2022 onwards.
Designed by FaZe Clan’s Lead Designer James Casper Vine and Creative Director Jay ‘JVY’ Richardson with aid and input from Disney’s own creative team, the Mickey On The Grid collection is expected to include t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats.
“This year-long collaboration is a part of our ongoing expansion into retail and consumer products. Myself and the product team at FaZe are honoured Disney trusted us to take a creative and modern approach to such an iconic character like Mickey Mouse.”
– Jay ‘JVY’ Richardson, Creative Director @ FaZe Clan
Richardson also hinted that other Disney characters could be utilised in future drops.
Over the past 12 months, FaZe Clan has been on a roll emphasising their presence within the lifestyle industry. With this Disney collaboration being the biggest, FaZe recently teamed up with Naruto Shippuden for a The Armory merchandise collaboration.
FaZe also recently came out with a collaboration with Ducky for a branded mechanical keyboard, appointed Snoop Dogg as a board member and announced a merger to go public.
