Netflix’s Money Heist Korea Joint Economic Area Gets First Trailer

An unprecedented Heist in a new Korea sets the stage and stakes in the latest teaser for the upcoming limited series, Money Heist Korea Joint Economic Area. A remake of Spanish series La Casa De Papel, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area is the first Korean blockbuster to kick off the second half of the year, with Part 1 set to premiere on 24 June, only on Netflix.

As the teaser reveals, under the new economic union, “only the rich got richer.” Into this ruthless new world of inequality steps a crew of thieves from North and South Korea, led by the Professor, who set out to pull off a history-making heist. The teaser also highlights the characters, including the Professor (Yoo ji-tae), Tokyo (Jung Jong-seo), and Berlin (Park Hae-soo of Squid Game) in action for the first time, with the latter two donning the iconic red jumpsuits with traditional Hahoe masks, stirring up further excitement.

Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area Part 1 will premiere worldwide on 24 June, only on Netflix.
