Genshin Impact Kuki Shinobu Hangout Event Full Walkthrough
Genshin Impact’s second half of its major 2.7 update is out now and features a ton of new events. Most importantly, you can now gacha for 5-star gang leader Arataki Itto and his trusty-yet-grumpy assistant ninja Kuki Shinobu.
The latter character has a new Hangout Event dedicated entirely to her. Hangout events in Genshin Impact are basically side adventures with branching paths ala your favourite visual novel(s), but set in Genshin Impact’s fantasy universe and features a bit of combat here and there. Here’s a full walkthrough for Kuki Shinobu’s adventure.
Ending #1 – Unexpected Wages: At the start, defend the Arataki Gang when prompted then select “it’s more important that they apologize”. Agree to follow Shinobu to Yae Miko’s Shrine north of Inazuma. Then accept the Shrine Maiden gig. Give advice to the patrons and the story will eventually end.
Ending #2 – Time For Some Secret Dealings: Follow the path to Ending #1 that leads you to the shrine. However, decline Yae Miko’s offer to do shrine maiden duties (usually the second option). You’ll end up taking down the Arataki Gang posters down with the help of Shinobu’s relative.
Ending #3 – Arataki Gang Community Service Chronicle: At the start of the Hangout event, step away from Kiku and the gang when prompted. Then, agree to help check on Shinobu. You’ll head to the nearby teahouse to see Shinobu in an interview, followed by a series of misinterpretations and aggravation from special guest Arataki Itto.
Ending #4 – Official Business!: Follow the path to Ending #1, but select “Oh? Then allow me!” followed by “Punishment isn’t necessary…”. The gang will then be prompted to run away from Shinobu. Find them. When you reach the third gang member, convince him to face the music and meet Shinobu.
Ending #5 – Doom Arrives All The Same: Follow the path to Ending #4 until you meet the third gang member. Then choose to help him hide from Shinobu. Be prepared for an ensuing battle with some ronin and Fatui Ice and Water elites though.
