Nicknamed the “The Smoke Criminal” during his come-up and labelled as one of the greatest products coming out of North America, EG got their hands on Stewie2k earlier this year but unfortunately, his leadership wasn’t enough as EG were unable to do anything significant.
Following this string of bad luck and almost two months after EG finalised their 15-man roster, Stewie2k went to Twitter to announce that while not competing in CS:GO he will be focusing on streaming it along with Valorant.
As of this year, the Smoke Criminal was wrapped in controversy and rumours about his attitude towards the game and lack of professionalism. This was in regards to EG’s idea for a 15-man roster dubbed the Blueprint project. He initially claimed the comments were “twisted and overly dramatic” but eventually apologized to EG and the fans for “playing a massive part” in that early project ultimately failing.
