Capcom come out and announced that they will have two presentations being streamed during Tokyo Game Show 2022.
The initial presentation, dubbed Capcom Online Program, will take place on 15 September at 10:00 AM (ET) / 10:00 PM (GMT+8). This will be a pre-recorded presentation and will feature the latest in Capcom news.
The second presentation — and the most important one — will be solely dedicated to Street Fighter 6 and will take place on 16 September at 11:00 AM (ET) / 11:00 PM (GMT+8).
Capcom has not yet announced what exactly will be unveiled during the first presentation, simply stating: “What will be revealed? Details to follow.”
However, it points out that Exoprimal, Street Fighter 6 and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be playable on the show floor at Tokyo Game Show.
Tokyo Game Show is one of a number of notable industry events returning to physical. This year’s iteration will be a public physical event for the first time since 2019.
TGS 2022 will be held for four days from Thursday, 15 September through to Sunday, 18 September at its traditional venue of the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, with business and general visitors able to attend.
For the past two years, TGS has been a digital-only event, with last year’s show allowing some domestic journalists and influencers to attend a behind-closed-doors section via special invitation.
The 2022 show will continue the live broadcast portion first introduced in 2020, with “most” programs planning to stream in both Japanese and English.
