With just over a month to go, 2K Games has released the first official trailer for the highly anticipated release of this year’s rendition of NBA 2K23.
The minute-long clip showcases a bunch of gameplay sequences featuring some of NBA and WNBA‘s most notable athletes. These include LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, Ja Morant, James Harden and Stephen Curry.
Other details revolving around the game remain scarce at the moment, but 2K will be releasing more information about the title next week, so fans of the franchise should definitely stay tuned for more updates to come. As for availability, NBA 2K23 will arrive on 9 September, with the Standard Edition for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC going for US$60 and the PS5 and Xbox Series versions for US$70, while a special Michael Jordan Edition will sell for US$100. Finally, there’ll also be a Championship Edition for US$150 that includes a 12-month NBA League Pass.
We can also use this as a template to imagine what the next FIFA game will look like as it was rumoured that 2K Games were in the running to be the new developers of the football simulation game after it was announced that EA Sports would no longer be partnering with FIFA.
