Cyberpunk Edgerunners: All The Callbacks, References, & Easter Eggs So Far

The Studio Trigger-animated anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners, which takes place in the world of CD Projekt Red RPG Cyberpunk 2077 but before the exploits of V, is out right now on Netflix. Long story short, it’s a lovely if sensory-overloading series that hits high notes before wrecking your emotions in the last few episodes. This IS set in a world where death is common and happy endings are very, very rare, after all.

There are a ton of references and nods to the PC and console RPG that came out in late 2020, from guest stars to even familiar locales. We may not have caught them all, but we did highlight our favourites.
