Like A Dragon Gaiden Announced; Takes Place Between Yakuza 6 and Yakuza 7

Sega and its Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has announced a side story game taking place between major Yakuza titles.

The spin-off game is called Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and it focuses on Kiryu Kazuma after the events of Yakuza 6 and the story bits leading up to Yakuza 7.

This side story title will be more like the “classic” Yakuza titles. It’s not as big as past Yakuza/Like A Dragon games but still as important. The game is meant for fans who loved the series since the beginning.

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be out in 2023 for PC, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
