This Cyberpunk: Edgerunner Music Video Tells A Heart-Wrenching Story In 4 Minutes

CD Projekt Red and Netflix have released the ending theme for its upcoming anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which is based on the sci-fi RPG.

The song is called “Let You Down” and it’s performed by Dawid Podsiad?o. The song itself is pretty mellow and fits as a bookend song for a sci-fi show about the crime-savvy Night City and the adventures within. The music video, however, is definitely something worth talking about.

It’s a beautifully animated tale about a hacker girl named Sasha who gets to serve justice to a corporation with her Edgerunner gang. In just a short span of time, we find out the girl’s backstory and her fate after doing a sting of a lifetime. And if you’re curious about who animated it, it’s directed by Ilya Kuvshinov and produced by Studio Massket.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be out on Netflix later today, 13th September.
