Capcom Will Have No Big Game Releases Before The Resident Evil 4 Remake In Late March

Capcom has revealed its latest financial report for the six months that ended on 30th September. And it definitely involves Monster Hunter windfall.

The latest Monster Hunter title, Monster Hunter Rise, has surpassed 11 million copies worldwide, with its expansion Sunbreak hitting 4.4 million copies. Meanwhile, Resident Evil 2 has surpassed 10 million units.

We also find out that Capcom will not have any big releases before Resident Evil 4 Remake on 24th March 2023. Furthermore, the company is expected to sell 40 million game copies next year due to its growing catalogue sales. Good news for the company, overall.

About Street Fighter 6 Though…

At least now we have official confirmation that its flagship 2D fighting game Street Fighter 6 will be out after 24th March 2023, as I predicted. It may be out a month or so before the next Evolution Championship Series which is usually in August, so its release period would be either in April, May, or June.
