How Long Does It Take To Beat God Of War: Ragnarok?
PlayStation is going all in with its upcoming action-adventure title God of War: Ragnarok this November, the sequel to 2018’s God of War title for PS4. The new game will be out for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and is definitely shaping up to be a major GOTY contender.
Having said that, one does wonder how long it takes to beat the game. According to a leak via Insider Gaming, the game will take 40 hours to complete in full. These include side quests and other activities not tied to the plot.
To break it down, the game’s main story will take around 20 hours to complete. The game’s cutscenes are worth 3.5 hours in length.
Keep in mind that the report linked above is just an estimate and not an accurate number. For comparison, God of War (2018) took 20 hours to beat according to data site How Long To Beat. It makes sense; why pad out an epic game’s story for so long when 20 hours or less on average is just right for an action-packed game with many realms to explore?
God of War: Ragnarok will be out on 11th November for PS5 and PS4.
