Star Ocean: The Divine Force Opening Movie Features Hyde’s Rocking Chords
The sixth Star Ocean game is looking sweet if the recent demo is anything to go by. Ditto the new characters joining your intergalactic party of space crusaders.
Square Enix decides to amp up the JRPG hype train with the reveal of Star Ocean: The Divine Force’s opening movie. If the J-Rock voice sounds familiar, that’s because it’s from Hyde (ex-L’Arc en Ciel lead) singing an original tune called “Pandora”. It may be symbolic, as the drone you use in the game -D.U.M.A.- is a Pandora’s Box type deal where it’s powerful and everyone wants what’s inside, mostly foe.
Take a gander below. Star Ocean: The Divine Force will be out on 27th October for PC, PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
