The Callisto Protocol Goes Gold Ahead Of December Release

Developer Striking Distance Studios has announced that The Callisto Protocol has gone gold ahead of its slated 2 December 2022. Going gold means that the game is essentially finished and ready to be printed into physical media. Going gold also means that the game will likely not be receiving any more delays.

The news was announced on Twitter via the official Callisto Protocol account, which stated:

“We are thrilled to announce that #thecallistoprotocol has gone gold! On behalf of everyone at @sd_studios, thank you for your support and excitement. We can’t wait for you to face the horrors waiting in Black Iron Prison on December 2nd.

And salud to our team in Spain. Couldn’t have done it without you.”

It’s also heartwarming to see the official Dead Space Twitter account responding to the announcement:

The Callisto Protocol is slated to release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 2 December 2022. The game will also feature Hollywood actors like Josh Duhamel and The Boys star Karen Fukuhara.
