DNF Duel Teases New Spectre Character; Coming To Switch Next Year
By Jonathan ToyadVerified|December 4, 2022|0 Comment
During Arc System Works’ ArcRevo Japan 2022 esports fighting game tournament, the publisher made new announcements after the tournament’s DNF Duel top 8 tournament.
For starters, DNF Duel will be getting a new character: the Spectre. According to the original Dungeon Fighter Online title (the game DNF Duel is based on), the Spectre fights using sword-sheathing techniques. She’ll most likely fight using moves inspired by Guilty Gear’s Johnny, Samurai Shodown’s Ukyo, and The Last Blade’s Moriya Minakata/Hibiki. After all, these characters use “sword-sheathing techniques” as part of their attacks.
Check out what she looks like below.

DNF Duel will also be receiving a Nintendo Switch port that’s slated for Spring 2023. In addition, the game will get its Grand Balance Patch soon, which will buff more than 100 skills, as well as higher HP and Guard Gauge for all characters. The update will be available this December.
