ROG Malaysia Is The Official Gaming Phone Sponsor For Mobile Legends MPL MY From Season 11 To 14

Republic Of Gamers ROG Malaysia has announced that they will be the Official Gaming Phone Sponsor of Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY) for four seasons, starting from Season 11, which is starting in February 2023, all through Season 14, which is slated to happen in late 2024.

Shawn Chang, Global Sales and Marketing Director of Phone Business Unit, Republic of Gamers, said:

“ROG is committed to building the gaming community, hence we have decided to work with MOONTON on MPL MY to equip the best teams in Malaysia with the best gaming phones and help them to achieve new heights in their esports careers. We are also taking this opportunity to collect feedback from elite mobile gamers to ensure that we can continue innovating towards new features and create the best gaming phone to all gamers out there.”

Fikri Rizal Mahruddin, Marketing, and Business Development Lead, MPL Malaysia, said:

“We are delighted to have ROG as our official phone partner for MPL Malaysia. Their battle-ready phones are the best fit for powering up competitive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang matches, and we look forward to capturing epic team battles on them!”

Organized by MOONTON, MPL Malaysia is a biannual event, pitting the top 10 local MLBB teams against each other for a share of the US$100,000 prize pool. The top two teams from the regional MPL tournaments will proceed to the Mobile Legends World Championship, which will see elite teams from all around the world fight tooth and nail to be crowned the world champions for Mobile Legends Bang Bang.

This sponsorship highlights ROG’s commitment to stimulating growth in the esports scene, not just in Malaysia, but also worldwide. ROG is dedicated to bringing better gaming experiences to elite and amateur players alike, equipping them with the world’s best gaming gear to propel them to ever higher levels of success.

The dedication to enable the best gaming experience for every kind of gamers has culminated in Team ROG, with members ranging from diverse backgrounds to showcase just how capable ROG products are, regardless of the game you choose. Team ROG counts renowned DJ Alan Walker and professional footballer, Son Heung-Min, among its ranks, as well as pro esports teams like Misfits Gaming, Rogue and Team BDS. ROG challenges gamers to achieve their true potential in play to live up to the motto of For Those Who Dare.
