Forspoken PC Requirements Seem Hefty

If you’re planning on buying Square Enix’s Western isekai adventure game starring a girl and her talking bracer, you may want to gear up.

Square Enix has revealed Forspoken’s PC specs and requirements, and they seem massive, requiring an i7 processor and GTX 1060 at the minimum and 150GB of install space.

Here are the minimum/maximum specs with words and the graphic, along with a PC feature video for the game:

Minimum requirements (720p 30fps display resolution)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 / Intel Core i7 3770 (3.7GHz or better)
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB / Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB
  • RAM: 16GB
  • HDD/ SSD Space: 150GB or more

Recommended requirements (1440p 30fps display resolution)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / Intel Core i7 8700k (3.7GHz or better)
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB / Nvidia Geforce GTX 3070 8GB
  • RAM: 24GB
  • SSD Space: 150GB or more

Ultra requirements (2160p 60fps display resolution)

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5800X / Intel Core i7 12700 (3.8GHz or better)
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB / Nvidia Geforce GTX 4080 16GB
  • RAM: 32GB
  • SSD Space: NVMe SSD 150GB or more

Also, due to fan feedback, the Forspoken demo on PS5 is getting a few tweaks. This includes button-mapping functionality, fixed tech issues, adjusted text size, and tweaks to the lock-on system. Do give it a shot if you haven’t: it’s basically an open-world superhero-style game where you sling spells instead of webbing. It controls real well too. Check out the first 20 minutes of the game below.
