Leaked Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League Battle Pass Suggests Live Service Game
By Alleef AshaariVerified|January 17, 2023|0 Comment
A leaked screenshot from Warner Bros Games and Rocksteady Studios’ Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League has revealed that the game will likely feature a battle pass, which means that it will likely be a live-service title.
According to the leaked image, other options available to players in the main menu include the story mode, game mode, chapter select, difficulty and matchmaking. In addition, the tab at the top features tabs for squad, looks, loadout, talents, social, battle pass, store, codex and options. There also seem to be various in-game currencies.
[Update 17/1/2023]: There’s some additional info with the picture revealed (via Video Games Chronicle). The Battle Pass is for cosmetics, with the “currencies” being character XP used to power up and customize the skill tree of each squad member. Furthermore, characters do not start out debuffed and weak.
“You just start off great and can get ridiculous, like Arkham Knight’s Batman”.
Whether that is true remains to be seen until we get hands-on with the title.
During The Game Awards 2022, Rocksteady Games revealed our first look at an evil Batman in their upcoming Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League. The late Kevin Conroy will be voicing the game’s version of Bruce Wayne AKA Batman. Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League launches on 26 May 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
