The Shin Kamen Rider Movie Is Getting A Beat ‘Em Up Game

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that a new title, called SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble, is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The game will be part of the beat ‘em up/hack and slash genre, while the concept of the game will be based on the movie, Shin Kamen Rider, which will be airing in cinemas in Japan in March 2023.
The game features an SD visual style, with various kinds of power-up systems that lie in wait for players to experience. The film has been written and directed by Hideaki Anno, who has created several blockbuster hits. The main character, Takeshi Hongo/Kamen Rider, is played by Sosuke Ikematsu. The heroine, Ruriko Midorikawa, is played by Minami Hamabe, while Hayato Ichimonji/Kamen Rider No. 2 will be played by Tasuku Emoto.
In SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble, there are a total of six low-class members of SHOCKER in the usual stages. Players will face various enemies and stage gimmicks that will keep them on the edge of their seats. The appeal of this title lies in the challenging battles against the advanced members of SHOCKER, who await you as the bosses of each stage.
Players might face defeat in the middle of the game, but the items that they collect will strengthen them and the Cyclone. If players are able to strengthen the Cyclone, they are able to skip the stages that they have cleared and get reinforced items to advance in the battle.
SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble is slated to launch for the PC and Nintendo Switch on 23 March 2023.
