Hogwarts Legacy Sorting Hat Guide: How To Pick Your Favourite House
By Kakuchopurei|February 8, 2023|0 Comment
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has this Hogwarts tradition where a magic hat called the Sorting Hat determines which student goes to one of the four Houses: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin.
The new action-adventure game Hogwarts Legacy is no different: after you’re done with the first 20 minutes of the game and its tutorial, you end up in Hogwarts, late for your inauguration. At least you still get to make an entrance and also get the Sorting Hat to determine your house.
The Sorting Hat will ask you two questions(?), unlike in the books and films where it darn well interrogates you. You have to answer these two questions, though only one of them actually matters.
You come here with preferences and preconceptions – certain expectations.
I detect something in you. A certain sense of – hmm – what is it?
The last question will determine which House you go in. If you are well-versed in your Harry Potter lore, you’ll know which answer leads to which House. Here they are:
-To get into Gryffindor, pick “Daring” as your answer.
-To enter Ravenclaw, pick “Curiosity” as your answer.
-To enter Hufflepuff, select “Loyalty”.
-To be in the best house Slytherin, pick “ambition”.
Slytherin, duh! But in all seriousness, this doesn’t affect stats: just the common room you bunk in.
