By Ali'sha HarrisVerified|February 16, 2023|0 Comment
Nintendo made a special surprise for Kirby fans on Valentine’s Day by releasing its newest entry to the It’s Kirby Time read-along series, A Hug from Kirby.
The 6-minute narrated video shows Kirby and his friend, Adeleine exploring the idea of love and making their journey meeting all the classic characters from the world of Kirby, and giving them big, warm hugs, in a charming tale that surely melts your heart.
The story starts with Kirby spending time with his friend Adeleine who has fallen in love, which made Kirby wonder what exactly love is. Adeleine gives Kirby a hug and an answer, leaving Kirby feeling more determined to learn everything he can about the feeling. He sets off and meets Waddle Dee, King Dedede, Chilly, and Marx, each character tells new insights about the emotion. The whole setting is purely adorable, befitting for all ages to enjoy, and perhaps for viewers to find their own meaning of love.
The video is the sixth book out of the seven series, It’s Kirby Time. The read-along series was originally released as physical picture books in Japan and as part of the release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Each book showcases a self-contained story that follows Kirby’s adventure and tells a positive theme or message. Other series tell a tale of Christmas, friendships, courage, and many more.
Love does come in many shapes and sizes, especially when it comes to Kirby! So, enjoy this Valentine’s Day with the pink ball of joy on the Nintendo of America Youtube channel.
