Octopath Traveler 2 Guide: The Best Ways To Farm Money
Like all JRPGs, money makes the world go round. In Octopath Traveler 2, you can farm money (called Leaves) in order to buy better gear. Whether you wish to haggle or steal, or kill enemies for loot, there are ample ways to get rich in Octopath Traveler 2’s fantasy steampunk hybrid world.
Here are the best and fastest ways to farm money in Octopath Traveler 2. And yes, they all involve the main cast’s merchant with the hat and jacket.
Partitio has a Support Skill called Grows On Trees that nets you extra money if you defeat foes. You can get this after unlocking 4 of Partitio’s Job skills.
Partitio has a skill called Collect that you can use to steal money from enemies. You can unlock the skill using JP points which you earn by killing enemies and also using Partitio’s special Bow skill Arrow of Fortune.
This one’s a no-brainer, but in some cases, you’ll get items that are only useful when sold like ingots or wallets/pouches. Just periodically check your inventory and sort them out.
There’s an area in Crackridge where you can farm money if you use Agnea’s Latent Power (makes single-target abilities target every enemy) and Collect (Merchant Skill) at max BP, then flee before the enemies can react; just get ready a party of Merchants who can donate BP to Agnea. Just be sure to do it at night to get tougher enemies that have a lot of money on them.
