Pedro Pascal Is Mario In New Saturday Night Live The Last Of Us Parody
The Last Of Us actor Pedro Pascal hosted this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL) and they aired a parody trailer of The Last Of Us featuring characters from Nintendo’s Mario franchise, including Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser and even Mario Kart.
In the funny spoof trailer, it stars Pedro Pascal himself as Mario, Chloe Fineman as Princess Peach, Kenan Thompson as Bowser, Yoshi (Bowen Yang) and. Pedro even utters Mario’s iconic line, “It’s-a me, Mario.” in an edgy and satirical way.
The fake Mario trailer features a world set 10 years after the destruction of the mushroom kingdom. Now they fight against Goombas, which is its version of the infected Clickers.
One of the funniest moments in the trailer is when Pedro Pascal’s Mario eats mushrooms and gets angrily defensive, saying that he eats them because they make him “feel big”.
