Reverse City Builder Terra Nil Will Be Out End Of March
Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Free Lives has announced the release date of its reverse-city building simulation title Terra Nil.
The eco-friendly and savvy simulation will be out on 28 March for PC, mobile (iOS, Android), and Netflix. Pre-orders for the game will receive a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition of the title, which adds the soundtrack and digital art book. Furthermore, a portion of Terra Nil’s profits will be donated to the Endangered Wildlife Trust.
“From the very beginning of development we’ve wanted Terra Nil to be able to have a real-world impact,” said co-creator and lead designer Sam Alfred in a press release. “After much searching, we found the perfect partner to make this happen in the Endangered Wildlife Trust. Free Lives will be donating a portion of the profits of each sale of Terra Nil on Steam to the Endangered Wildlife Trust to help them in their efforts to preserve and restore ecosystems in the real world.”
We enjoyed our time with the Terra Nil demo last year; it was a great mix of a chill meditative experience and a building puzzle simulation where you not only build and make lakes, but also raze forests to create ash for the earth, as well as recycle whatever’s left. The full game will have four regions to unlock and unlockable alternate levels to find and open up.
