Singaporean Dev’s Action Roguelike Cuisineer Comes Out This Summer
By Alleef AshaariVerified|February 17, 2023|0 Comment
XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe have announced that they will co-publish food-focused action roguelike Cuisineer from Singapore-based developer BattleBrew Productions. It is slated to launch for PC via Steam sometime in summer 2023.
Cuisineer is a roguelike dungeon crawler combined with a restaurant simulator. It looks like what if Diner Dash meets a rogue-lite like Hades. While managing their restaurant, players will need to engage in combat by going dungeon crawling as well in order to get the resources for their cooking.
You play the role of reluctant restaurateur Pom, an adventuring hero faced with saving her family’s debt-ridden eatery. Armed with her trusty spatula and a supply of refreshing boba tea, Pom will need to venture through dangerous and diverse dungeons to harvest all the ingredients she’ll need before returning home to cook up tasty dishes.
Last year, they won first place at the Big Indie Pitch competition. You can stay up to date on what BattleBrew Productions is up to on their Twitter account or their official website here.
