Publisher Private Division and developer Obsidian Entertainment have announced The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, will launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and GOG on 7 March 2023.
This new version of the game includes a dynamic weather system, revamped lighting and environments, better load times, enhanced character models and animation, an increased level cap of up to 99, and much more await spacers who bravely and boldly take their place in the conspiratorial Halcyon colony.
Summary of the game according to Obisidian:
“Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the colony. Explore the various planets and locations of Halcyon, including the mysterious Gorgon Asteroid and delightful distillery on Eridanos. As you encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds.”
