Publisher Level Infinite and developer Next Studios have set a date for its upcoming free-to-play multiplayer looter shooter title Synced.

In Synced, players will get to work together and fight off enemies in third-person shooter glory while also being able to summon “Nano Companions” that act as either your protector, buffer, or aggressor. The game will be out for PC (Steam) this summer, with PlayStation and Xbox console versions coming soon on a later date.

Key features & new launch date trailer are below. We had a go with Synced a few months ago; it didn’t leave much of an impression on us, though the Nano Companions do look cool. Maybe the full version of the game might change our minds.
