By Alleef Ashaari|March 22, 2023|2 Comments
The fourth episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar Malaysia. I’ll be discussing heavy spoilers so if you haven’t seen it or want to avoid spoilers, now’s your chance to stop reading.
Meanwhile, check out my breakdown of The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 1, Episode 2 and Episode 3 here.
The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.
The series stars Pedro Pascal, Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. The directors of the eight-episode Season 3 include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Check out my breakdown of the first three episodes of Andor, Episode 4, Episode 5, Episode 6, Episode 7, Episode 8, Episode 9, Episode 10, Episode 11 and Episode 12 here.

Last year, we were given the opportunity to interview none other than the former Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and current Dark Lord Of The Sith Darth Vader; Hayden Christensen himself.
During a flashback, we learn that Grogu was at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during Order 66 AKA the Great Jedi Purge in Star Wars Episode III The Revenge Of the Sith.
In the present, Grogu is not only still traumatised by the event, but he is also seemingly suffering from PTSD or maybe Survivor’s Guilt.
Many Jedi sacrificed themselves to ensure that Grogu survived, including one Jedi named Kelleran Beq.
Who is this mysterious Jedi who saved Grogu?
Well, Star Wars fans, hold on to your seatbelts because that’s Kelleran Beq, a Jedi Master whose nickname is “The Sabered Hand”.
However, that’s not all because who is playing him? It’s none other than Ahmed Best. Yes, the very same actor who played Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars Prequel trilogy.
Ahmed Best made his debut as Kelleran Beq in Star Wars Jedi Temple Challenge as the host of a children’s game show series that puts its young contestants through a series of obstacles as part of a Jedi training course that tests them on the core Jedi principles of strength, knowledge, and bravery.
This new rondel is Grogu’s second piece of Beskar armour.
He received his first, the Beskar chainmail, back in The Book Of Boba Fett Season 1.
And his name is Ragnar.
In case you don’t remember, House Vizsla is one of the most powerful and influential Mandalorian clans.
What this means is that Bo-Katan Kryze will probably have a rival contender for the Mandalorian throne in the future.
There you have it, folks. Until next week, excelsior!
