Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising Online Beta Test Delayed

It had to happen: an anticipated fighting game beta needs more time in the oven.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising’s upcoming beta for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 has been delayed from its previously-planned May date. There’s no new announced date as far as we know, so file the beta under “indefinitely”. Here’s what creative director Tetsuya Fukuhara said:

“The game is currently experiencing stability issues during online play. While we realize that some bumpiness is to be expected during beta testing, we would still like to put our best foot forward and ensure we deliver as enjoyable an experience as possible.”

Better late than never, we guess. In the meantime, we do know that GBVS Rising will be out for PS5, PS4, and PC in 2023.
