Diablo 4 is out for PC and consoles starting 2nd June, and with all top-tier RPGs, there’s always a new build being made for any of the game’s five classes.

This guide will teach you how to Druid damaging surrounding enemies using physical attacks, and poison, and how to use defence using magic and shapeshifting effectively to progress from Tier 2 to Tier 4. So let’s grizzly up your Druid class!

Overview

This Druid build mixes shapeshift of werebear and werewolf to give a good balance between attack and defence. Increase the Pulverize aspect to enhance damage surrounding enemies and reduce the damage of the Druid class. Plus it’s very satisfying to use.

Blood Howl helps to heal up to 20% of maximum life, proceed to unlock two of its Modifiers: Enhanced and Innate Blood Howl. Whereas the Trample will knock back foes and stun them, making it a Defensive Shapeshift skill that’ll be useful in the long run.

Poison Creeper acts as an indispensable ally in stopping adversaries and afflicting poison up to 90% damage over 2 seconds. Rather than killing opponents outright, it weakens them with poison damage so that the Druid can finish them. Alternatively, a Druid can attack the opponents once or twice, and then leave them for the Creeper to finish while the Druid focuses his attention on fresh, strong enemies.

Use your early skill points in getting Storm Strike and its Enhanced/Fundamental unlocks, then unlock Pulverize along with Heart of the Wild and Predatory Instinct in order to maximize Spirit and Critical Strike Chance. When you reach Act 5, get the Ursine Horror Aspect powerup to make your Pulverize deal more AoE damage. You will also need to put in skill points into abilities that give you Fortify (alongside Ballistic Aspect and Aspect of Retaliation), which means it’ll be harder for you to die in the endgame.
