New Side-scroller Black Finger JET Announced For PC
By Lewis Larcombe|May 15, 2023|0 Comment
Black Finger JET is the latest game from Kohachi Studio, the Japanese game developer that used to go by the name PrimaryOrbit. This game is a side-scrolling run-and-gun game that’s set to launch on PC via Steam, although they’re also considering other platforms. Unfortunately, there’s no word on the release date just yet.
Kohachi Studio has some experience in the gaming industry, having previously developed the dungeon exploration RPG Marchen Forest: Mylne and the Forest Gift for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam. For Black Finger JET, they’ve got a talented team in place, including akio as the main artist and planner, Meeher as the producer, Hiya! as the sound producer, Esaka-Ken as the pixel artist, and Shinano Ishiguro as the director. There are also two 3D model collaborators on board: Samuel Lafleur and Boo ME.
If you’re a talented pixel artist, 3D artist, 3D animator, Unity engineer, or Unity effect designer, you might be interested to know that Kohachi Studio is currently hiring for these positions to help develop Black Finger JET.
So, what’s the game about? According to the description on its Steam page, Black Finger JET is a new game from a team that’s released many action shooting games. The game has an old-fashioned, easy-to-understand story and a classic game feel. It’s a simple and exhilarating action shooter that’s sure to get your adrenaline pumping.
As for gameplay, Black Finger JET is a run-and-gun game that uses the good old 8-way aiming gun action. You’ll use various guns like handguns, machine guns, and shotguns, and sometimes you’ll even get to ride the proud vehicle “JET car” to defeat your enemies. The JET car can transform into an airplane, a submarine, and even a ground vehicle, making it a versatile tool in your arsenal. With a variety of stages to explore, Black Finger JET promises to be a great adventure.
