VTuber Vampire Survivor Clone Holocure Will Be Out On Steam
By Jonathan ToyadVerified|May 12, 2023|0 Comment
In an intentionally scary way, like as if a game is shutting down due to copyright issues, the creator of 2D roguelike auto-shooting WASD game Holocure, Kay Yu, are re-releasing its fan game on a different platform.
First, the bad news: the Holocure game launcher has been taken down, so the only way to download Holocure is to go back to the webpage and get the latest version manually. The good news? The game will be out on Steam in its 0.6 update form soon. This is thanks to Cover Corporation (the owners of Hololive) allowing this as long as the game is free and dubbed a fan game.
No date has been announced yet, but that means Holocure will be joining its cousin Idol Showdown on PC via Steam. And yes, you can still download 0.6 from the itch.io page. And yes, the previous statement on Twitter from the team is intentionally written to appear scarier than it actually is, with the team issuing an apology. Kay Yu’s quite a joker, eh?

For those who don’t know, Holocure is basically Vampire Survivors but with Vtubers and Vtuber jokes as playable characters and enemies. You can download the game now.
