Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade Closed Beta Is Now Open For Registration
By Alleef Ashaari|June 13, 2023|0 Comment
During Ubisoft Forward 2023, Ubisoft announced that players can now register for the Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade Closed Beta by signing up on the official website. However, we still don’t know when the closed beta will take place.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, the first open-world Assassin’s Creed built for iOS and Android, is set in third-century BCE China, following the Warring States period and the unification of China under the Qin dynasty.
Published by Level Infinite, Codename Jade is chronologically set between Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Origins, and takes place in the first multiethnic feudal state in China. “This is a very exciting part of China’s history,” said Andrei Chan, executive producer at Level Infinite. “This is the establishment of essentially the first empire of China. It was also a time when the connection between China and the rest of the world was stronger than ever.”
“Our goal is to provide an authentic Assassin’s Creed experience on mobile, and we are very proud of what we have already,” says Chan. “Fans can expect all the iconic features – assassinations, air assassinations, stealth, parkour, combat mechanics – and we’re keeping it narrative-driven.”
In a series first, Codename Jade will let players customize their assassin’s appearance, and the team is prioritizing touchscreen controls to make sure that Codename Jade’s gameplay feels natural to all players.
