BlizzCon 2023 Tickets Sales Announced; Event Livestream Will Be Free

BlizzCon 2023, a massive celebration of Blizzard games like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and Diablo, is set to take place in Anaheim, California after 4 years. For the first time, you can watch the entirety of the livestream for free, however, the in-person event will cost you quite a bit.

Starting with the ticket prizes, the General Admission ticket cost USD299, and includes access to all halls, early access to the BlizzCon Store, in-game content, and a backpack. The Portal Pass, priced at USD799, offers general admission perks and much more – allowing access to a private lounge featuring meet-and-greets, as well as separate registration and security lines.

The ticket prices have skyrocketed since the last in-person BlizzCon in 2019. Back then, General Admission was USD229, and Portal Pass was USD550. That’s a 30% increase in GA and a 45% increase in Portal Pass.

Tickets will go on sale in July 2023 across two waves. Wave 1 takes place live on Saturday, 8 July starting at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 July, 1 AM MYT through AXS. At the same time, wave 2 will be available on Saturday, 22 July / 23 July, 1 AM MYT. A maximum of two tickets can be purchased per order.

For those who can’t make it to the show in person, BlizzCon 2023 will be live-streamed for free. if you wish to experience more than just watching the show, the Virtual Ticket can be purchased, which features in-game goodies, early access to exclusive BlizzCon merchandise, and more. Pricing for the Virtual Ticket was not announced.

BlizzCon 2023 takes place from 3-4 November in Anaheim, California. This year, Blizzard said the aim is to make the event “more experiential than ever before.” Fans can expect “massive installations, art, and thematic spaces” to showcase franchises like Warcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch. Attendees can also attend developer panels and learn about upcoming Blizzard projects. The first Overwatch World Cup Finals will take place at BlizzCon as well.

BlizzCon 2023 tickets will be available on 8 July and 22 July only. For more details, visit Blizzard’s official website.
