Here Are June 2023’s PlayStation Plus Essential Games
By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|June 1, 2023|0 Comment
Sony just unveiled the lineup of PlayStation Plus Essential games for June 2023.
This month, the first batch of games includes NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi. These games are available for both PS5 and PS4 users.
Starting from 6 June until 3 July, subscribers can claim these games and add them to their collection. PlayStation Plus Essential is the basic membership tier that grants access to a selection of “free” games every month.
The best part is that once you claim these games, you can continue playing them even after the monthly period ends, as long as you maintain your subscription to PlayStation Plus Essential or a higher tier. But remember, if you let your membership expire, you won’t be able to play these games anymore unless you re-subscribe.
In case you missed it, let’s quickly recap the PlayStation Plus Essential games from May 2023. GRID Legends, Chivalry 2, and Descenders were up for grabs until 6 June.
According to Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan, around 30% of PlayStation Plus users have opted for the Premium and Extra tiers, which were introduced last summer. These tiers offer additional perks and benefits.
And here’s some great news for bargain hunters! Sony’s Days of Play sale begins on 2 June and includes discounted PlayStation Plus subscriptions. Whether you’re a new member or an existing one, you can snag a 25% discount on all 12-month plans, including Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe tiers.
But wait, there’s more! Existing PlayStation Plus Essential and Extra members can also enjoy a 25% discount when upgrading their memberships to a higher tier, whether it’s for 1 month, 3 months, or 12 months.
So mark your calendars and get ready for an amazing month of gaming with PlayStation Plus Essential. Don’t miss out on these fantastic games and discounts. Happy gaming!
