RGG Studio has announced that YouTuber Yong Yea is the new English voice of Yakuza and Like a Dragon protagonist Kazuma Kiryu in the upcoming Like A Dragon Gaiden The Man Who Erased His Name. Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio made the announcement on Twitter, revealing Yea as the final panellist at their upcoming Dragons of Japan talk, which is scheduled to take place at Anime Expo in LA.
Even though he’s best known as a YouTuber, Yong Yea is also a voice actor, having voiced characters in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion and more. He will voice Kazuma Kiryu in Like a Dragon Gaiden The Man Who Erased His Name and Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth. He’s taking over from Darryl Kurylo, Kazuma Kiryu’s English voice since 2005.
