The Esports Awards Returns To Las Vegas For Its 2023 Rendition

The Esports Awards, the ultimate highlight of the esports calendar, is back and they’re bringing the excitement to Las Vegas for the 2023 edition. This year’s event promises not only the grand ceremony itself but also networking opportunities and the highly anticipated Lifetime Achievement Mixer. It’s the perfect chance for brands, organizations, and industry thought-leaders to gather, exchange ideas, and make valuable connections.

If you thought last year was amazing, just wait till you hear what’s in store for the 2023 Esports Awards. Taking place on 29–30 November, the ceremony will be broadcasted live on all major platforms from the cutting-edge Zouk venue in Las Vegas. It’s a truly state-of-the-art setting to celebrate the best of the best.

The Esports Awards is thrilled to team up with 5GRV: Gamers on the Road for an exciting partnership. As part of their award-winning reality show’s second season, they’ll be presenting the Esports Host of the Year Award. In this season, we’ll follow four fierce and talented Black Female Streamers, namely BarefootTasha, DefinedbyKy, LeeshCapeesh, and the hilarious comedian GloZell. Together, they’ll embark on a journey to the 2023 Esports Awards, showcasing diversity and inclusion within the gaming community.

This year, the Esports Awards is making a big change to ensure equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of the size of their communities. They’re introducing a self-nomination format, open to B2B professionals and select media outlets in the esports industry. Nominees will have the chance to provide supporting information for their nomination, and media outlets will play a crucial role in the nomination process by bringing their expertise and knowledge of the esports scene to the table.

To be eligible for nomination, an official representative from the company, product, or talent must complete the process before 7 July. If you’re interested in learning more about the nomination process, check out this link: https://esportsawards.com/nominations/.

But wait, there’s more! Las Vegas will also be hosting the inaugural Scholars on 28 November. The Scholars is an awards ceremony dedicated to collegiate gaming, organized by the same team behind the Esports Awards. Keep an eye out for further details about this exciting event.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to continue honoring excellence in the industry and celebrating the dreams that have become a reality for so many, including ours. Recognizing the potential of the collegiate scene, we’re introducing the Scholars as a platform for players, individuals, and organizations in that space. We can’t wait to welcome talented individuals from around the world to join us in November for some well-deserved celebrations.”

Mike Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards

Let’s not forget the incredible spectacle that was last year’s Esports Awards at Resorts World Las Vegas. It was a milestone event that brought together the biggest names in esports and beyond. PUBG Mobile, LOUD, and Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag were just a few of the winners that night. The 2022 campaign saw a whopping 17 million total viewership, 115 million impressions, and 10 million votes cast. With those numbers, it’s safe to say that the Esports Awards are expecting nothing less than another remarkable year in 2023.
