With Season 5: New Dawn well underway, EA and DICE have revealed the newest in-game Seasonal Event for Battlefield 2042, the Arkangel Directive. The event will run for two weeks, starting on Tuesday, 11 July 2023 at 5 am PT through Tuesday, 25 July 2023 at 5 am PT.

A combined arms battle never seen before, The Arkangel Directive features two factions dedicated to the most advanced robotics and AI technologies on Earth engaged in heavy conflict, fighting to win control in a brand-new game mode. Control is a new 24v24 game mode played across Reclaimed, Orbital and Valparaiso, where players will claim satellites around the map, collect telemetry data to upload to the Arkangel Satellite and earn points to call in mid-game bonuses to turn the tide of battle.

Players can expect unique gameplay rewards during the Arkangel Directive event, including rare backgrounds and epic weapon skins, headgear and charms. The store will have new bundles and item rotations to check out as well.

Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter that marks the return to the iconic all-out warfare of the franchise. Utilize a cutting-edge arsenal in immersive multiplayer battles on maps set in both open battlegrounds and close-quarters maps. Choose your class, rally your squad, and fight through the world of 2042 as well as Battlefield’s past.
