El Paso, Elsewhere Announces September Launch Date With Animated Music Video
By Lewis "lickety" Larcombe|July 20, 2023|0 Comment
Get ready for a wild ride with the lead character, James Savage, in the upcoming game El Paso, Elsewhere by Xalavier Nelson Jr. and Strange Scaffold. Picture this: a belly full of pills and a mouth full of blood as James ventures down a crazy, winding path under a random motel, where reality seems to bend in unexpected ways. If you’ve played the Max Payne series, it’s pretty much a surreal version of that third-person shooter, guns akimbo and all.
The game is set to launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC via Steam on 26 September, so mark your calendars!
In the meantime, you can get a taste of the game’s atmosphere in the newly released trailer. It’s more like a wickedly animated music video, featuring the song “Stay Awake,” a cool collaboration between Xalavier Nelson Jr. and musician RJ Lake. This tune promises to be a real banger, and you can catch a sneak peek of it in the trailer.
Speaking of the trailer, it offers a stylish glimpse into the world of El Paso, Elsewhere and hints at what’s in store for players. The story follows James Savage as he embarks on an intense and unwanted journey down a dark rabbit hole. Why? Because his ex-girlfriend, Draculae, the vampire queen herself, is up to no good, conducting a ritual that could spell doom for the entire world. Now, James must rush back to his hometown of El Paso, Texas, for a calamitous reunion and face off against hordes of monsters guarding Draculae.
But that’s not all – James is haunted by memories of his time with the undead queen, and there are werewolves, mummies, and even biblically accurate angels waiting to make his life even more complicated. Thankfully, he’s armed with an arsenal of weapons, pain-numbing pills, and a badass bullet time ability to slow down the action, giving him a chance to strategize and counter enemy attacks.
So, get ready for an adrenaline-pumping adventure when El Paso, Elsewhere launches on 26 September. It’s going to be one heck of a thrilling and action-packed ride you won’t want to miss!
