Chinese developer 91Act has announced that their action roguelike titled BlazBlue: Entropy Effect is now available on PC via Steam Early Access. Yes, the same BlazBlue that was a 2D fighting game from Arc System Works before Guilty Gear got back into the fray.
Among the features of the Early Access release are four large themed stages, one procedurally generated Metroidvania-style map, seven unique characters, eight elemental systems, ten boss battles with independent mechanics, more than 50 different enemy varieties, an advanced mode, and “mature and uniquely presented story performances”. Moreover, the developer has confirmed that 60 – 70% of the game features are included in Early Access. There will be more content in the full version, including multiple endings, additional playable characters, and new gameplay modes.
Here are the key features of the game & story description:
In this fictional near-future, a technology known as “ACE” allows people to enter a virtual world and fight as different characters. Yet little do they know what happens in the virtual world is slowly changing their reality…
Phenomenon Fragments could either reveal or conceal the truth… Will you trust them?
Your dialogue choices will decide which way the story goes… How will you choose?
Make your choices carefully, for they will lead to completely different destinations at the end of your eventful journey.
In addition, players can now purchase the game at a 12% discount, RM43.12 until 23 August 2023.
