Set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 23 August 2023, Ahsoka sees Rosario Dawson take up her lightsabers once again as she reprises her iconic role from The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fett.
Get ready for the latest Star Wars series with these essential things to know about Ahsoka.
If you’re not familiar with Ahsoka Tano, know this: she was once Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi Apprentice – yes, she was trained by Darth Vader himself.
Check out their first meeting in the video above. For the full story, you can watch the seven seasons of Star Wars The Clone Wars on Disney+ Hotstar.
With her distinctive facial markings, striking orange skin, and elegant horns, Ahsoka belongs to the Togruta species who are sentient humanoids. Discovered on? a planet called Shili, a grassy, wooded planet found in the Expansion Region, Ahsoka was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for Jedi training.
You can watch Star Wars Tales Of The Jedi on Disney+ Hotstar for Ahsoka’s birth and origins.
Based on the trailers so far, Ahsoka is now taking on the mantle of mentor, training Sabine Wren, a Mandalorian Warrior and Rebel against the Empire. Darth Vader is regarded by many as one of the most fearsome villains and his apprentice, Ahsoka has learned many of his skills, making her quite capable of holding her own against him. With Ahsoka training Sabine, does this mean that she may become just as powerful? And Mandalorians are –literally– a race of warriors. Combining the two is an exciting blend we can’t wait to watch!
For more on how Ahsoka first met Sabine, you can watch the four seasons of Star Wars Rebels on Disney+ Hotstar.
