Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 Brings In Tear-Inducing Edgerunners Easter Egg: Here’s How To Find It

Cyberpunk 2077’s massive 2.0 update not only adds in a huge number of much-needed changes and tweaks, but also a tribute to the Netflix anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

The tribute is not only heartwarming but also heartbreaking. I’ll put the spoiler tags here in case you haven’t seen it yet. You should, by the by.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a 10-episode anime series made by Studio Trigger (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill) starring a group of edgerunners, and the story of one David Martinez as he rises to the top. Of course, like any Cyberpunk story, it all ends with everyone dead, save for one character: Lucy.

The Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update adds murals created by Lucy to pay tribute to the lives lost, spotted by Redditor FirmAd6452. They are located at the Westbrook District’s North Oak Columbarium; basically one of the game’s graveyard areas. Each mural has a text from Lucy’s perspective, from her boyfriend David (represented by his cybergraft icon) to even the show’s traitor Kiwi (appropriately shoved to the corner).

Fucking heartbreaking
