Everything You Need To Know About The Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2023
By Xandria MordenVerified|September 5, 2023|0 Comment
We’ve come to the end of the season and it’s almost time to crown our Champions of this year! ALGS has definitely not disappointed us this year except for the fact that all 3 LANS were held in the UK. We’ve seen many teams rise to the occasion to compete against the best of the best and now the competition has slowly whittled down to the best teams from all over the world.
Can DarkZero, the reigning Split 2 Playoffs champion, successfully defend their title and secure another Championship victory, or will a new ALGS world champion rise to the occasion?
It all starts here from 6 September to 10 September . As usual the first 2 days will consist of group stage matches, followed by bracket matches the next 2 days and followed by the Finale itself.

The 2023 ALGS Championship will feature a group stage with a double-elimination bracket format. In the group stage, teams will be sorted into four groups of 10 based on their Playoff Points or LCQ tournament performance. Each team will play a single six-match series against every other group, totaling 18 matches per team.
Following the group stage, teams will be seeded for the bracket stage according to their performance. The top 20 group stage teams will enter the winner’s bracket, while the bottom 20 will join the loser’s bracket. The winner’s bracket will consist of one eight-game series, and the loser’s bracket will feature two series. The top 10 teams from the winner’s bracket series will progress to the finals, while the others will move to the loser’s bracket.
Ten additional teams will qualify from the first loser’s bracket series, and the final 10 will emerge from the second series.
The finals of the 2023 ALGS Championship will employ a match point system. Once a team accumulates 50 points in the finals, they will become “match point eligible,” and the first team to secure a victory after becoming eligible will be declared the tournament winner. There is no limit to the number of teams that can achieve match point eligibility, and there is no set number of matches for the finals.
