FIFA is No Longer in EA Sports’ Game Back Catalogue
By Xandria MordenVerified|September 27, 2023|0 Comment
It is no surprise that EA Sports has released FIFA’s back catalogue from all online stores for PC as well as consoles. The move happened when EA Sports FC game was released.
It was Twitter user MauroNL who first spotted that FIFA 23 is no longer available to purchase on the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Nintendo eShop, Steam and the Epic Games Store as well. EA’s FIFA 23 site has not updated this change just yet. Don’t fret though, although it is no longer available on digital storefronts, the game is still playable with an EA Play membership.
On September 21, 2023, EA Sports made a formal request to Steam, resulting in the removal of the game from the platform. While the wider public must wait for the release of EA Sports FC 24 until September 29, players who secured the coveted Ultimate Edition were granted an exclusive privilege – early access from September 22 onwards.
Last May, EA revealed they were concluding a nearly three-decade-long collaboration with FIFA and had intentions to introduce a fresh football series.
