Morkull Ragast’s Rage Is A 2D Villainous Action Platformer Slated For Next Year

Publisher Selecta Play and developer Disaster Games have announced a new 2D action platformer that lets you be the God of Death and Darkness in Morkull Ragast’s Rage. In this game, you’ll experience a rollercoaster ride filled with action, platforming, and exploration.
Players take control of the villain of the story, Morkull — the God of Death and Darkness, and the Lord of the Ragast, who wishes to escape from the Ragast’s clutches and rule the world with his evil plans. It’s a classic villain tale with a wicked modern twist.
Morkull, the video game character, possesses a fascinating trait – he is aware of his existence in the game. This self-awareness allows him to break the fourth wall and engage in conversations with you, the player. Moreover, Morkull even shows some appreciation towards the developers who brought him to life. With his charming charisma and vibrant personality, Morkull creates a lighthearted atmosphere throughout the game. His constant humour, filled with witty remarks, bad jokes, and clever references to pop culture, adds an additional layer of enjoyment to the gaming experience.
The official trailer looks promising and delivers what we expect from a villain; bad humour, vulgar language, and a rock-solid action combat playthrough. There’s even a scene where Morkull takes a piss on the Ragast floor and gives the screen a thumbs-up (No regrets at all).
Besides controlling the power of the God of Death and Darkness, the game features a wide range of combos and abilities that can help you fight your way through Ragast.
Morkull Ragast’s Rage is scheduled to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam sometime in 2024.
In the meantime, watch the official trailer below.
