Calling all gamers in Malaysia, what better way to celebrate Malaysia Day 2023 than with the best local Malaysian games? That’s what you can do tomorrow by watching the first-ever Malaysia Direct live stream on YouTube at 11am GMT+8 on Saturday, 16 September 2023.

The presentation will showcase 11 Malaysian developers and publishers featuring their games, brand-new releases and upcoming titles.

These include: 

• Passion Republic Games, best known for the monster brawler game, GigaBash (check out our review here).
• Metronomik, best known for their 3D action platformer No Straight Roads (check out our review here).
• Kaigan Games – best known for their horror game franchise Simulacra (check out our review of Simulacra 3 here and their official Doctor Who game here).
• CtrlD Studio – a Sarawak-based indie studio that is making a game titled Overhours.
