3D Beat Em Up Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream Announced For PC

Publisher Freedom Games and developer Gamecom Team have announced an upcoming sequel to Troublemaker: Raise Your Gang titled Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream. The upcoming game combines seamless fun with stylish combat, minigames throughout the city, unique side stories, and a captivating narrative.

Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream is an open-world action-comedy beat ’em up game that takes place in the fictional city of South Jayakarta, inspired by the diverse city of Indonesia. Players assume the roles of Jordan, the street brawler and Budi, the MMA fighter, alongside the Beyond Dream band and the Parakacuk gang. Together, they embark on a journey filled with challenges and obstacles as they chase their dreams.

The game highlights the concept of camaraderie and showcases two groups, the Beyond Dream band and the Parakacuk gang, who have shared a bond since their high school days. Together, they embark on a journey that encompasses the intricacies of friendship, the complexities of drama, the enigmatic nature of love, the intensity of rivalry, and the thrill of adventures. This narrative weaves a compelling tale that will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on their adolescent years.

In addition to the storyline, players will have the chance to engage in a smooth and modern combat experience, where they can utilize various forms of combat. This includes using their bare fists, wielding different types of weapons, mastering combat techniques, and executing powerful finishing moves in order to overcome their adversaries.

The game also offers an interactive urban environment that players can fully immerse themselves in, which is one of its standout features. Taking cues from beloved beat ’em up classics and its predecessor, Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream provides a wide range of activities and mini-games throughout the cityscape. Moreover, players have the opportunity to partake in special side quests and assist their friends and fellow townspeople.

As players advance in the game, they will have the chance to witness the thrilling clash between Jordan, the skilled fighter from the streets, and Budi, the formidable mixed martial arts (MMA) practitioner. With an extensive selection of combination moves, weaponry, items, and techniques, players have the ability to customize their approach and make use of all available resources to defeat a variety of opponents.

Although there has not been a specific release date confirmed yet, the sequel will be available on PC via Steam sometime in 2025.

Meanwhile, check out our Troublemaker: Raise Your Gang review or our interview with Budi’s voice actor, Abel Valentino.
